Lardiere McNair LLC cares about protecting your personal information.  Recently, we’ve invested in a tool called Protected Trust which allows us to protect our communications and our clients’ data with cutting edge email encryption.  Email communication is convenient and fast, but we have ensured that we are protecting the personal information of our clients in this era of technological uncertainty.

If an email contains sensitive information, we will use Protected Trust.  Rather than a typical email, our client will receive a message: “You have received a protected message from Lardiere McNair.  The sender has required that you verify your identify using your phone to view this message.”  Our clients have the option of verifying their identity with an instant text message or phone call.  They then enter a 4 digit code into the message of the email.  Any time the client replies to the encrypted email, that reply will also remain encrypted.  If the client chooses to create a free profile through Protected Trust, they no longer will need to verify their identity every time.
