Before entering private law practice, Mr. Trimble worked for several years as a claims representative handling serious personal injury and wrongful death cases for a major auto insurance company. He has lectured regularly at continuing legal education seminars in the areas of personal injury, trial practice, and insurance bad faith law.
He holds bachelors and masters degrees from Bowling Green State University and received his law degree from Capital University Law School, where he was an editor on its Law Review. He is licensed to practice in all Ohio courts, the federal courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He has served as a Trustee on the Board of the Ohio Association for Justice (formerly the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers). He is also a member of the Columbus Bar Association, The Ohio Association for Justice, and has served on the Board of Ohio Citizen Action, a grass-roots environmental organization.
In his free time Tom enjoys reading, traveling with his wife and family, walking with his yellow lab, Bailey, having a beer with a friend, playing some blackjack, and trying (with limited success) to play golf.
For my first lawyer that I needed to represent me, I was doing my research. With Sunni I felt a connection. When you feel a connection, that’s when you can trust someone. Sunni and the firm are really mindful of the clients’ needs and their time. I feel like they did an exceptional job.
