Alexis Frederick is a summer law clerk at Lardiere McNair & Stonebrook Ltd., LPA, and a Juris Doctor candidate at Capital University Law School located in Columbus, Ohio.
Alexis graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Relations and Policy. After graduating, she moved to Columbus and began her legal career working as a paralegal at a nonprofit law firm. While working in this role, Alexis assisted with client intake, legal research, litigation, and advocacy efforts to support the firm's housing law practice. Her dedication to service earned her a Leadership Award, recognizing her initiative to go above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference for clients and the community. At Lardiere McNair & Stonebrook, Alexis will primarily support the firm’s attorneys throughout the pre-litigation and litigation processes on personal injury cases. Alexis brings a client-centered perspective and practical experience to each case she assists with.
Alexis is open to exploring various areas of law as she shapes her career path. She currently has a strong interest in personal injury and is eager and committed to gaining meaningful hands-on experience. Her passion for service and her diverse legal background makes her a valuable addition to Lardiere McNair & Stonebrook.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Alexis has lived in Columbus since 2021. In her free time, she enjoys working out, journaling, volunteering, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
