Taylor is an associate attorney at Lardiere McNair & Stonebrook, Ltd., LPA. Taylor graduated from Capital University Law School with honors. Taylor is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association.
Taylor has been employed at this firm as a law clerk and then as an associate attorney since May 2019. Taylor has spent most of her legal practice working on personal injury claims, landlord/tenant matters, and general litigation claims. In Taylor’s time as an attorney, she was instrumental in handling the largest personal injury settlement amount in firm history and has already taken part in a personal injury jury trial.
In her day-to-day work, Taylor helps manage the firm’s personal injury practice. Taylor is well versed in civil litigation, including but not limited to filing complaints and answers, working on discovery matters, taking and defending depositions, attending pre-trials and mediations, and attending court hearings and trials. Specific to handling personal injury matters, Taylor is proficient in dealing with insurance companies, including presenting demands on behalf of her clients, negotiating with insurance companies, and filing a lawsuit when an agreeable resolution cannot be reached between the parties.
Alongside her practice in civil litigation, Taylor has an interest in sports law. She has previously helped negotiate Division I women’s basketball coaching contracts as well as facilitate her clients’ getting interviews with Division I athletic departments, all while under Lardiere McNair & Stonebrook, Ltd., LPA’s umbrella. As a daughter of Marion County native and former Professional Women’s Basketball coach – Brian Agler, Taylor has a passion for sports. Taylor excelled in high school basketball, helping her team reach the OHSAA Division I State Final Four her senior year at Olentangy Orange High School in Delaware County. Taylor is the female all-time leading scorer at Olentangy Orange High School to date.
Taylor had a successful collegiate basketball career while receiving her bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years. Taylor attended Indiana University from 2013 to 2015 and was a member of the Indiana University Women’s Basketball team where she earned a starting spot as a freshman and was a Captain of the team as a sophomore. Taylor attended Ohio University from 2015 to 2018 and was the Captain of the Ohio University Women’s Basketball team her senior year.
Taylor received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Ohio University in 2016 and her master’s degree from Ohio University in Sports Administration and Health Communication Studies in 2018.
Taylor is a Columbus, Ohio native who grew up in Westerville, Ohio and graduated from Olentangy Orange High School in 2013. She now lives in Worthington, Ohio with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and cat. In her free time, Taylor enjoys working out, spending time with her family and friends, doing home projects, reading, and trying out local restaurants.
